We know you are working hard to extend a love of reading and writing throughout your entire school.  We are excited to invite you to a FREE two-session Virtual Professional Development event designed to help you build a thriving reading environment and inspire even your most reluctant learners. Attend one or both of the following sessions. If you can’t attend live, the recordings for each will be available to you after the live sessions. All you need to do is register! Session 1: Leading a Culture of Reading  on April 14, 2026 at 7pm ET with Dr. Lorraine Radice Educator, Speaker, & Author Dr. Lorraine Radice’s session will offer practical strategies for building a celebratory school or district-wide reading culture that meaningfully involves all stakeholders. Participants will explore a community-based approach to supporting students’ reading engagement, including the development of reading identities, habits, and behaviors. This session is relevant to teachers, librarians, administrators, instructional coaches, and department chairpeople. Session 2: How to Light a Fire Under Our  Students to Become Avid Readers and Writers  on May 12, 2026 at 7pm ET with Dr. Christiana C. Succar Curriculum and Research Specialist In this session, learn how to motivate your students to become avid readers and writers by fostering curiosity, aesthetic involvement, and identity and confidence through virtual author talks. Attendees will leave the session with materials to bring back to their libraries and classrooms.   Whether you’re looking to refine your leadership approach or find new ways to engage your students, this event will provide the "fuel" you need for your school’s next step.
