We looked at the unit plans and content standards being taught and used a crosswalk I created to show where standards aligned and where the library could help.

We call these "soft points" where we can push in or co-teach with a staff member. Who doesn't like an extra set of hands to help with a unit?

My crosswalk is attached, we have revised for each school after the AASL standards update.

I would love to be included in this as well!  It was suggested to me to "hound" the teachers by saying "how is the library going to play into this" but I don't think that's the best approach.

Hi Mary,

I am at a middle school in Farmington.  I collaborate with many of the teachers.  Happy to set up a Google Meet to chat if you would like to chat.

Happy Friday!
I am reaching out to get some feedback/ideas about ways to increase collaboration time with teachers. I am in a middle school setting with a flexible schedule.
It was my first year this year and I let teachers come to me and that worked, but I want to know some other ways to increase collaboration without “hounding” teachers.
Thank you!!!
Mary
