The Reading Brain: Why Understanding Dyslexia and Its Intervention Matters

In honor of Dyslexia Awareness Month, join Dr. Maryanne Wolf for a virtual session exploring the neuroscience of reading and why learning to read unfolds differently for individuals with dyslexia. Participants will examine how the brain learns to read, consider how outdated perceptions of dyslexia can affect learners, and explore how multicomponent intervention can support the varied needs of dyslexic readers. This session is designed to deepen understanding of dyslexia and the role of targeted, differentiated instruction in improving outcomes. See the attached flyer for details and registration information.
