Hi CASL friends,

November is a time to reflect on what we’re grateful for, and school libraries give us so much to celebrate! CLC is gathering people and library news for the November edition, and we want to hear what’s happening in your school library.
Have a new staff member, award, exciting collaboration with teachers, creative student program, literacy initiative, or special event to celebrate? Have your students reached a reading milestone, explored new technologies, or participated in a project that made a difference in your school community? We want to hear about it!
From big accomplishments to everyday moments of learning and discovery, every story is worth sharing. Help us shine a spotlight on the school librarians, students, programs, and partnerships that make school libraries such an important part of Connecticut’s educational and library communities.
📅 Deadline: Monday, October 26
All school library staff are encouraged to submit stories and highlights from their libraries.
So take a moment to celebrate your school library’s accomplishments, share what makes your library community special, and help us fill the November issue with stories worth celebrating. We’re grateful for all you do to support students, inspire readers, and create opportunities for learning. We can’t wait to feature the wonderful things happening in school libraries across Connecticut! 🧡🍎📚
