Yes, a kid in training to be an adult has many days of intense anticipation  counting the days till that day, a birthday, a holiday, the last day of school, filling every moment with joy and trying to be good and not mess it up. But kids grow up and become adults and the special days become rarer and with a lot of compilations. Very easy to satisfy a kid, not as easy as an adult. Now as an adult I still count days, some with dread (my doctors), happy days (with my friends.) Today is one of my happy days. A day with old friends and with a few new friends to hear the music that brings us together.
