Come early....stay late--- ya know the parking is tight!!! Mention "parrots heads" to the valet and usually they will let you come in to park. Check out parking at Waterford Plaza (across from Shriners Headquarters) and walk over.

Are you ready to relax on a lazy flowing river of the clearest water you have ever seen, on a hot July day with a bunch of your parrot head phriends? I thought so, and that's why a lot of you already have your reservations in!
Some will be leaving at 10:00 and some at 11:00 we should all be able to get together at some point during the trek. Whichever time, be sure to arrive at least 20 minutes early!!
I'll post a map of the river with some probable stopping points that we will stop at to relax and get some water. Be sure to look in the comments! Those coming up from down stream can meet us at one of the stops
The park has several rules which we all need to be aware of. First is a time limit rule. They will post a pick up point time when we launch.
Guests who arrive at the pickup point after the posted time will be charged a $50 per boat and per hour late fee. Exceptions are made due to inclement weather conditions. Please make sure you know the posted time as it changes based on the time of year!
Next is what you cannot bring.
following items are not allowed on the River: alcoholic beverages, pets, Styrofoam or glass items.
