A1A invites you to their birthday bash!

 
Spring has sprung, and it is now time to prepare for the largest Parrot head party in Northeast Florida. Thursday, June 13 to Sunday, June 16 will be the 23rd Annual Beach Bash, with the primary purpose of raising funds for the Alzheimer's Association. In the past four years, we raised more than $50,000, with more than $19,000 last year alone. We hope to continue to add to these numbers, but we can do it only with your help, and money. So, we need you to register for the event with us (http://a1aparrotheads.org or use the attached Beach Bash registration form found below) and to bring in more of your wonderful items for the Silent Auction and Raffle. You can also help us spread the word since this event is not limited to Parrotheads. Like-minded folks with similar tastes in music are most welcome! 

We "Party With a Purpose" to raise monies for our charities. But we also Party!. For that we have another amazing line-up of musicians to entertain you this year. It starts with The Detentions from 3 to 6 p.m. and then the Jimmy Parrish and Sunny Jim Duo from 8 to 11 p.m. on Thursday evening. On Friday,  we will have Danny Rosado and Boomer Blake from Noon to 3 p.m., Jimmy Parrish from 3 to 6 p.m., and then Jerry Diaz and Hanna's Reef from 8 to 11 p.m. Next up will be Barefoot Reggie Starrett from Noon to 3 p.m., Tim Campbell from 3 to 6 p.m., and then Drop Dead Dangerous Loaded from 8 to 11 p.m. on Saturday. We wrap up all this great music on Sunday with Joe Downing from Noon to 3 p.m. All Noon to 3 p.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. performances will be poolside, with the 8 to 11 p.m. music in the grand ballroom.

We will have the registration table at the entrance to the Raffle and Silent Auction room, and we will have folks roaming with the 50/50 Raffle Tickets. 

The Guy Harvey Resort has recently upgraded the rooms and entire resort, including recent work on the pool and pool deck. They still have rooms available, but you MUST state that you are registering for the block of rooms with the Beach Bash event. We will send another e-mail out when we have booked all of the rooms at this Resort. So keep calling and make those reservations. Glass and coolers will not be allowed on the pool deck. More information will be sent out before the event to those who have registered, so keep your eye out for those after you have sent your registration form and money in.
