Yes, 16 years of THE YARD and TROP-ROCK MUSIC, made possible by Buffett, by the All artists who took the torch and expanded it into the genre it is today.

The YARD that started from a 10x10 covered area for a picnic table has grown into THE YARDOME. An idea borrowed from Skippers, not as well done, a little more decrepit and rundown, more like a dive bar on its last days. But a labor of love, for the music, and to keep me busy and out of Sharon's sight. We like it, not having to drive a 100 miles to hear the music, we are too old now, the artists like it, a covered event with no rain. The fans like it for the same reason, and where else can you bring your own drink and food to share with your friends. A great day that working men and women can afford, and retired.

Sharon and I, with the help of our friends, will keep the Yard as an event that we love doing forever, but what lasts that long, how long is forever? So let's enjoy every moment, now is all we have.
