I want to tell the story about how Sharon and Iwere introduced to the music oF Freebo.   We were in  Key West. for the annual Parrot head Motm and at one of the many side events a friend heard Freebo was playing at a house rented by a fan. Never heard of him but in Key West free is rare so we went, I heard an interesting mix of songs that were original and different, and I wanted to hear more. We had recently started our own house concerts in our backyard and wanted to invite him to play., We were discouraged by various people  who meant well ." No one wants to play in " someone's back yard,  you don't even have a pool."  Well people had been telling me NO my entire life. and I tore that page out of my Funk & Wagnalls Standard College Dictionary a long ago.So I asked and he played more than once..Now back from the tour that took him to Europe  Freebo is on tour as a duo with Alice Howe ( no, not the Alices in the song you're thinking of ) For all of you who wonder about Freebo check out his bio. He is a Rock Legend, among musicians. Too many to list here, artists that you have in your musical collection. In the old daysof vinyl records his name would be in the "liner notes" , yeah, I am that old.   An old Key West musician  who if you went to the Keys more than once you would hear him say, " every song you love was a new song the first time you heard it". So come and hear Freebo and Alice Howe, for the first time.  And you will understand, and hear your next favorite new song.

Gate opens at 6:00 pm

There is a $20.00 pp cash donation to the artists.    BYOB and BYOC
