Parrothead phamily, if you have not heard already, it is with great sadness that I share our dear brother in music, Robert Greenidge, has passed.

I am sharing this post from Jim Mayer as I could not have said it better, and what better tribute than from a Coral Reefer. He will be greatly missed!

Our hearts are with you as we carry the beautiful sound of Robert's pans with us in so many songs, so many albums, and countless live performances. Tears of sorrow and gratitude, for having known him, to have shared the stage with him.

Jimmy would sometimes refer to him lightheartedly as, "God" on stage, because Robert heard EVERYTHING. When I'd make a mistake, or even begin to make a mistake, he could hear it, and I would instinctively look over at him and his eyes were on me, smiling. I send you all hugs today. Let's let the sound of Club Trini reverberate. Thank you, Robert, for all your music!
