THE LINEUP THIS YEAR IS ABSOLUTELY STACKED!


We’ve got new faces, returning favorites, Trop Rock legends, and some seriously incredible talent headed to Gulf Shores for Meeting of the Minds!


Every time we announce another artist, the Coconut Telegraph starts buzzing all over again. Parrots are squawking, flip-flops are tapping, and somewhere a margarita is already being poured.


MOTM 2026 is going to be FANTASTIC!

What Does Party With A Purpose Really Mean?


For Parrot Heads, “Party with a Purpose” is much more than a catchy phrase. It’s really the heartbeat of the Parrot Head community.


The party is the part everyone sees: the tropical shirts, live music, dancing, boat drinks, laughter, road trips, old phriends, new phriends, and perhaps a few questionable decisions involving tequila.


But the purpose is why it matters.


Parrot Head clubs have always taken that shared love of Jimmy Buffett’s music and lifestyle and turned it into something useful. They raise money for charities, volunteer in their communities, support environmental causes, collect food and supplies, help people after disasters, and give their time to organizations that need an extra set of hands.


And that combination is important. Parrot Heads figured out that doing good doesn’t have to feel solemn. You can raise thousands of dollars while wearing a coconut bra. You can help a family in need and then dance barefoot to a Trop Rock band. You can make a genuine difference in somebody’s life while having one heck of a good time doing it.


To me, the deeper meaning is:

We came together because of the music.

We became friends because of the lifestyle.

We became a community because we discovered what we could accomplish together.


That’s what Party with a Purpose really means.

How We Party With A Purpose at MOTM:


At Meeting of the Minds, “Party with a Purpose” comes alive through the charity events woven into the week. Parrot Heads may come to Gulf Shores for the music, the beach, the friendships, and the party, but along the way, we turn all that fun into something that matters.


Our charity events give everyone a chance to participate. Whether it’s buying a raffle ticket, bidding on an auction item, joining a fundraiser, making a donation, or supporting one of the special events held throughout MOTM, those individual contributions add up to a tremendous impact.


And one of the most meaningful moments comes when we get to present the charity checks and see what all that partying actually accomplished. Behind every dollar raised are real people, real organizations, and real communities being helped.

BREAKOUT SESSIONS


Breakout Sessions Are Back at Meeting of the Minds 2026!


Calling all Parrot Head Club leaders! While you’re at Meeting of the Minds, take some time to connect, learn, and bring a few new ideas back home to your club.


Our Breakout Sessions are designed to give leaders an opportunity to sit down together and talk about the things that help keep our clubs strong and growing. Sessions will cover topics including Leadership, Membership Drives, Charity & Community Service, and Communications.


But these sessions are about more than just listening—they’re about sharing ideas and experiences with fellow leaders from across Parrot Head Nation. Talk about what’s working in your club, learn what others are doing, brainstorm new initiatives, and maybe even find opportunities for clubs to collaborate on future events, charitable efforts, or common goals.

Whether you’re a longtime club leader or just stepping into a leadership role, there’s always something new to learn—and sometimes the best ideas come from simply sitting around a table with other Parrot Heads who understand the challenges and rewards of keeping a club moving forward.


Come with questions. Come with ideas. Come ready to share.

Then head home with new connections, fresh inspiration, and a few more tools in your toolbox to help make your club even stronger.

MOTM CHAIRS


Just like last year, you'll be able to bring your chairs into the courtyard of the Hangout starting 9:00 a.m. on Thursday morning. Set your chairs up and leave them for the weekend! As always, we ask that if a chair is already placed, please do not move someone else's chair. That said....if a chair is empty, feel free to sit in it until the owner returns.


NEW THIS YEAR:



MOTM has partnered with the Lower Alabama Parrot Head Club to "rent" chairs for those who don't bring a chair or can't because of flying. This is super exciting. For a donation of $35, you can have a chair for the entire weekend. Set it up and leave it all weekend. Then on Saturday night....you can walk away, and the club will collect the chairs! Proceeds will go to a charity of the LAPHC's choice.


ALERT: Low Stock on chairs.....if you want one, better take care of it now. If the XL Chairs sell out.....check the XXL chairs. Once they're gone....that's it.
