Hi Rita
I would love to see your policy or any other documentation your team has created.  We are also working on a policy, triage forms and forms for monitoring temp/symptoms, and working closely with the hospital staff to have an all-inclusive plan.  Our biggest question in EHS is similar to that of others - do we let staff who had potential exposures continue to work.  Also, CDC seems rather vague in delineating a "low risk" from a "no risk" exposure.

We are diligently preparing for caring for Ebola patients at Lakeland. We have developed an Ebola team and have hosted 2 meetings with local health department officials, our senior leaders, directors and front line staff along with Infection prevention specialists, etc.
We are planning to listen to the broad cast today listed below and we are hosting a simulation experience next Monday as a tracer activity to include caring for the Ebola patient from presentation to the facility through discharge or transfer.
We have developed an Ebola policy and screening tools for the facilities, outpatient clinics and all medical practices. As everyone else-we are working diligently to ensure we are truly ready for the patient when and if they present to Lakeland.

I am happy to share policies, screening tools, etc--later today as I need to go to prepare for the conference call.
