Please share if your organization has a successful protocol for early identification of patients with communicable illnesses (such as tuberculosis or n. meningitis) upon entry into emergency departments for care to which staff flags the patient and places them into the appropriate isolation at the start of their encounter? We are trying to reduce the number of emergency staff potential exposures.
Thank you.
