We have the manager or supervisor in each department compile a list of their employees exposed. We send them the exposure criteria for the particular ID. They are then responsible for activating their staff call back systems for the exposed employees. Employees meeting the criteria are informed to contact us for any necessary prophylaxis and or testing. Each manager sends us their list of employees. We have pre printed information on incubation period, typical symptoms, prophylaxis reporting requirements if ill ect., which we email to each exposed employee also.

Subject: [MCOH-EH] Infectious Disease Exposure Notification

What system do you use to notify employees regarding infectious disease exposures (e.g., scabies, flu, TB)? This process can be very labor intensive and we are seeking ways to enhance this process.
