And when you move outside of federal testing, you mush be careful of state laws. Some states are silent on  what and how you can test and others are very specific, some limiting to those in safety sensitive positions and for some the medical marijuana laws (not many but some) may limit what can be done with a marijuana positive in an approved medical marijuana user.
