I am an occ doc and a pathologist.
I have two different POC HgA1c tests that use different techniques to get the results--the simplest is a POC device that looks like a glucose monitor.
The problem is that you CANNOT use POC testing to diagnose diabetes. It is not that sensitive. It can only be used to follow a diabetic or manage medications

Subject: [MCOH-EH] HgbA1C POC testing
Does anyone have advice about what is the best way to do this, which analyzers you are using, and what is the cost.
Thanks
