At Children’s in Dallas we do not in house drug screening. Urine drug screens are done by an off-site provider for pre- employment, post- accident, and reasonable suspicion. Additionally, the transport team (ambulances, planes and helicopters) are randomly screened by urine drug screen and breath alcohol analysis.

Subject: [MCOH-EH] employee drug screens

[This email was sent from an external source.]
1. Curious as to what type of drug testing others perform on employees?
2. Observed vs Nonobserved?
3. Do you use different processes depending on reason for drug test?
Random, Pre-Employment, Reasoable Suspicion, For Cause-narcotic discrepancy

Thank you,
