All of our employees, volunteers, contractors, etc. get seen in the ED as a first aid visit. This is the only place in our system that is open 24 hours and can provide prophy in a timely manner to them, and if they do get prophy the visit changes to work comp.
We have 4 hospitals and over 20 clinics spread over an 80 mile radius and we have found that this is the best method as all cannot come to one place. Employee health does all of the follow up testing and since the source Hep B and Hep C testing are not done stat we give those results to the exposed person too.

I am looking to see what other people have for a process after blood borne pathogen exposures. What is your process to get the exposed staff's baseline HIV and Hep C labs done during off hours when OccMed is closed?
