Hello,
We conduct post offer Health assessments which includes UDS/BAT, TSPOT for TB Screening, immunization review with titers as indicated, N95 fit testing, color vision testing and completion of Health Assessment & information form. Candidates have 72 business hours to contact Employee Health to schedule the UDS/BAT once an offer has been made & accepted.
Once UDS/BAT completed, we proceed with the remainder as mentioned above at the same visit. Time frame depends on the UDS and TB screening. If UDS requires GCS confirmation due to rapid is non- negative, it may delay clearance time. The TSPOT is a 72 hour turnaround which is one reason we switched from 2 step PPD to TSPOT. If for some reason the TSPOT is not negative, additional testing or referral for CXR is needed; therefore, clearance is delayed. On average, it takes 3-5 business days for clearance. Changing from TSPOT vs PPD has decreased our turnaround time drastically.

We do post offer physical's, which include drug screening, immunization review, and a T-spot.
We replaced a 2 step Tb skin test with the T-spot, partly because of time constraints. If the candidate brings in all of their immunes we can clear then in 2-3 days.

The 2018-2019 quadrivalent vaccine will also contain a second influenza B strain called "B/Phuket/3073/2013-like (B/Yamagata lineage) virus," which was also included in last season's quadrivalent vaccine.
