[MCOH-EH] Localized Reactions to Flu Vaccine

We use the same vaccine and have administered approximately 3000 as of today. Out of that, we have had only 5 reported reactions at the site. All were either swelling or redness at the site of injection. I did tell one employee yesterday that it is more than likely because of the vaccine strains, opposed to the previous. She stated today that her PCP told her the same.
I will add that several years ago, we had an above average number of localized reactions and a neighboring hospital did as well. The manufacture and State HD were contacted because we discovered both were out of the same lot.
Once the lot # changed, the numbers decreased which may be coincidental; however, may want to call to see if there have been additional reports with that lot.

We are also giving Sanofi Fluzone Quad
Have seen increase of people reporting same reactions including swelling. Those reactions we've seen are mild and one person who came on day two was already resolving. Staff who get every year without reactions are surprised and think something is wrong. Wondering if due to the A/Singapore & B/ Colorado strains this year.

I'm wondering if others are seeing an increase in localized reactions on employees from this year's flu vaccine. We are seeing an increase especially in itching and swelling at the injection site.
