We haven't had any initiatives specifically directed towards burnout, but we definitely recognize the importance of work-life balance, good nutrition, and regular exercise. We do free wellness labs, and we support work-life balance through scheduling options. We hast a variety of physical challenges/initiatives throughout the year since physical activity and self-perception effects your mental health as well.

Hi,
I am benchmarking on best practice of initiatives to implement a more robust employee wellness program and burnout prevention. 2017 Medscape showed that of 17K MDs over 40% had burnout symptoms.
Would love to hear how your institution is managing wellness programs and burnout.

I will send a summary to the group of the responses.

Cheers.
