[MCOH-EH] Clogs in the OR

Yes- there is data that suggests that clogs are implicated in ankle injuries, slips and falls, and plantar fasciitis. Can’t quote the exact sources right this minute but I always advocated against clogs and for closed sneaker type of shoes.

My OR director just messaged me about staff wearing clogs in the OR. I dress policy for clinical areas just addresses closed toed shoes. AORN apparently prohibits clogs, does anyone have experience with this restriction?
