[MCOH-EH] Smoke Evacuators in OR

I have been approached by our surgical admin team to go to the institution to ask that we have a smokeless operating suite policy. This has been brought up in part because  a local surgeon, not at our institution, has been talking with the legislature on the risks of exposures, specifically HPV. 

Have any of you made this policy change recently, if so, are there arguments or references that you found persuasive in these discussions?
