Hi
We have developed OH champions teams who will be assisting our small department. The OH Champion team is formed of a nurse, doctor and administrator.
I work at UAE and am responsible from a number of healthcare facilities.
We are about to implement checking everyone at the beginning of the shift .I have developed a quick questionnaire for team leaders to be completed by every one starting a shift .Anyone who answers yes to the questionnaire will be taken off that shift and asked to home isolate .
The details of identified HCW with yes answers will be communicated to the OH Champion team who will call the HCW and do a telephone consultation .I have developed flow charts for these teams to follow .
This way we may be able to lower the risk of positive or suspect HCW continuing seeing non COVID19 patients or spread the infection to others .
Stay safe
Tayseer
