[MCOH-EH] increase in WP violence incidents

We’ve seen a pretty steady increase over the past 10 years and developed a comprehensive WPV Prevention Program.  We flag charts so that when they return to the facility, staff are aware of their history.  We also have a system to communicate with other facilities in the region.  Staff wear badges that, when pressed, activate an overhead code for assistance.  We do annual training for staff.

Hi all,

We have seen an increase in assaults over the last couple of months - patient to employee, both verbal and physical.
I am wondering if others are also seeing an increase in assaults to healthcare workers.
