Most employees here (actually it depends on which union they are in) gets 40 hours of paid administrative leave for anything COVID related (they are sick, have to care for a family member, daycare issues because school/daycare is closed due to COVID) for this year. They can use it all at once or intermittently. There is also the federal EPSLA leave where they can get an additional 40 hours of COVID leave if they qualify. We do not distinguish between work or community acquired at this point. If work acquired however, they can also file a workers compensation claim.

We only pay for a work related case of COVID.

We do not pay if they are quarantined due to a community /household quarantine. We do have a robust Emergency Fund for Team Members that will provide them up to a few thousand dollars to help pay some bills if they run out of vacation time.

It has been difficult for our team members who cannot work from home and have to quarantine. We do have some managers who need data entry done and allow some of them to do this from home if they have a work laptop. Clinical nurses do not have a work laptop, so the are on their own in most cases.

We do have a COVID cost center that we pay the work related cases from.

Hi
Are you paying employees that are asymptomatic but are quaratined because they live with someone that is positive.
Under our RIDOH they must be quarantined for 14 days.
Assume that they can not work remotely.
We are telling them they can not work.
Do you have an "infection control" code?
Do they have to use whatever leave/ vacation they have earned?
Are they on their own?
Are their state avenues to pay?
Thank you
