Hi All

I work at the UAE .We have set up an electronic system back in April with the first wave in accordance to advice from ITaly during one of the IOMSC webinars .

We developed an electronic link that has screening questions that each HCW has to answer and sign an electronic declaration before starting shift or workday .Any one flagged will be requested to stay at home and will get a consultation from a nurse or a doctor depending on the case .We have also created a tracker that will collect all the details of exposure circumstances, the site of work, the PPE used ,assigning the risk ,assign the date for PCR testing depending on the risk ,return to work provisional date depending on quarantine or isolation time .

This has reduced the rate of cases among HCW to zero at some point .

Best regards

Are you aware of any standardized form or a surveillance system regarding health workers with/or exposed to COVID-19 ?
If you could have any experience, I’d be grateful to receive any information you might share.

Your electronic recordkeeping system should contain a template for documenting and reporting screening dates, exposure history, symptoms, titer dates and results, work status, and (when appropriate) return-to-work clearance. If it doesn't, you'll want to contact the vendor to ensure that gets implemented.

Joe Fanucchi
