[MCOH-EH] High Flow Nasal Cannula O2 - ?aerosol producing

We are doing an exposure assessment of staff caring for a pt admitted with pneumonia and a delayed diagnosis of COVID-19.  High flow nasal cannula O2 was used.  Here is one short communication that suggests that HFNC is not considered aerosol producing.  If haven't seen HFNC used, there are a lot of videos available.
Appreciate if you can share any insight or experience with it from an infection prevention standpoint.
