We have done what Dr. Swift describes. Individuals working 100% remote are "tagged" as such and certain requirements are adjusted. A change in work location such that they are coming onsite prompts requirement to complete all standard requirements.

The expansion of teleworking in healthcare has exposed some gaps in the ability for most HR systems (and therefore the OH systems they populate) to accurately tag exclusive teleworkers. I think facilities could explore a carve out for remote workers, only if they have a reliable and timely mechanism to identify a change in work location. Remote working isn't necessarily a static condition; people trasnfer to new jobs within the institution, but also their teleworking status in their current role may be in flux as restrictions lessen.

Hello colleagues
We are having debates on whether to require the same pre-placement immunizations and TB testing to remote workers throughout the US. Covid has created a whole new opportunity for healthcare.

There are challenges with this and would appreciate your institutions policy on this.

Thanks
