[MCOH-EH] Innovative solutions to support HR for absence management related to illness or injury?

Good afternoon All,

Many of us (if not all) are working in organizations that are facing staffing shortages related to COVID illness and staff turnover over these past two years.

At any point in time, an organization would benefit from snapshot (all the way down to department and work unit) on medical absences, including last unplanned call outs for flu/other communicable diseases, etc.

I am wondering if you know of innovative technological/vendor solutions that are useful to help managers project time away from work (e.g. post-surgery, active flu/other communicable disease, etc.) for workforce planning purposes? How can we in Occupational Health better assist them with this?

I would be happy to chat offline about this as well if anyone is interested.

Thank you,

Craig
