The OSHA AtoZ index has some useful approaches to understanding recordkeeping under the heading "Recordkeeping."  There's a 17- and the 78-slide versions of training  that are actually quite logically constructed.

It's rare that clinicians do the actual recordkeeping in most places of employment as it has some pretty clear time requirements (within 8 hours, within 24 hours, within a week) and OSHA does cite people for those violations.  Usually it's the safety line this is responsible.

Hi there- I've been tasked with taking over the OSHA 300 logs and I'm a little overwhelmed because I have to submit by March there is no one to guide me through it. For those who complete these can you offer guidance? Our hospital employees roughly 2,000 people if that helps. Thank you!
