Dr Leibu,

I don't believe that it would confirm on Gas Chromatography as positive, even if it would trigger on initial screen .  You can ask for the isomers (d and l) and see if it's meth , but I would call it positive just with the confirmation and say that Trazadone is not a plausible source.

Has anyone ever heard of trazadone causing a false positive metaphetamine result on a urine drug screen?
