Subject: [MCOH-EH] N95 Respirator Options
Hello,
With the recent FDA announcements regarding Halyard N95 respirators, we are no longer fit testing individuals into the Halyard Fluidshield regular or small N95. This means currently we have 3 options of N95 respirators for fit testing, which include the 3M 1870+, 3M 1860 regular, and 3M 1860 small.
My question is how many style and sizes of N95s do other organizations offer as options for fit testing? Is there another N95 option besides the 3 listed above that others have a high success rate for passing a fit test and are well utilized by staff and providers?
Thank you,
Jamie
