[MCOH-EH] Unusually High Number of Positive QuantiFERONs

Yes, we have been experiencing the same thing for over a year now. We have had a mixture positives and negatives when repeated.
We are unable to run QFT’s in house. Our lab director has sent several of these cases to our contracted lab for review. No definitive answer as to why this is occurring.

Speak with Qaigen. We had this happen about 8 years ago at UCLA. Got the UCLA lab director involved and turned out it was an issue with the test temporarily. We had to repeat them again but with new test kits the positive rate went back to what it had been. Warner

We are seeing an unusually high number of positive QuantiFERONs for new hires without risk or history. We repeat the Quant and it is positive as well. Is anyone else experiencing this?
