Concurrently with moving our central tele into upgraded space and going to new hardware/software, we are looking at staffing. I have had concerns about fatigue, SOP for scheduled and PRN breaks, how we cover for when folks are away from their screens, and patient to monitor ratios. We have not found any guidance/best practices.
I'm also curious as to training...we are also looking at our structured training and at the elbow proctoring, and proficiency testing.
Cross posting with OEM-L. Appreciate your time to share your experiences.
