This interactive session will equip attendees with essential knowledge of exposure risks to veterans. Topics include the unique healthcare needs of the veteran population, specific exposures during service (e.g., burn pits, Agent Orange, Camp Lejeune), and the impact of military culture on clinical care. Participants will gain an understanding of exposure-informed care, the VA’s Toxic Exposure Screening, the PACT Act, and how compensation and benefits are determined when presumptive coverage is not available.
