We are reviewing how we respond to injuries and WPV incidents sustained by our employees.  We’d like to be able to categorize them for triage as well as for aggregate analyses.  A quick Google Scholar search didn’t yield much, aside from the 4 classes of WPV incidents (the 2016 article  on WPV in HCWs from the NEJM is a worthwhile read if you missed it), and the injury severity indices used in emergency medicine.

The nature of the healthcare work environment might be amenable to its own severity indices.   Has anyone tried to develop their own, or aware of indices that have been useful?
