Cross listing MCOH and OEM-L.

We’ve had some issues with psych patients escalating, eloping, and assaulting employees here.  There has been some discussion over the use of Taser (“conducted energy device”) in selected scenarios.  Appreciate any words of wisdom in setting up a formal policy.  A quick Google search identified a couple of jurisdictions with their policies/procedures.,,,I’ve got  NYPD, New Jersey Attorney General’s Use of Force Policy.   Inquiring of the list your experience, your own policies,  in dealing with these individuals in a healthcare environment.

Thanks
