We will give Tamiflu in exposure situations in which the healthcare worker did not use PPE and had a significant exposure to a verified influenza case (i.e. patient coughed directly in HCWs face).
We also make decisions based on number of influenza cases we are seeing in both patients and healthcare workers in our organization.
