We also keep the source records as part of the employee exposure record.  It is destroyed when the records are destroyed.

Subject: [MCOH-EH] BBP source patient records

I have been trying to find a directive as to how long we need to keep BBP source patient records.  I know the HCW records need to be available for 30 years but am unclear on the source.  I believe this may vary state to state, but wondering if anyone has insight into this?

Thank you in advance.
