If they already had Tdap once as an adult and they can show us documentation, we go to Td.  If no documentation of Tdap as an adult, we administer this.  We also give Tdap to women in their last trimester of pregnancy.

When an employee (new or existing) had a TdaP 10+ years ago, do you give a Td or another TdaP?  If just a Td, what about those in obstetrics or the ED?  I know CDC says Td, but I’m seeing a lot of family practice providers giving a 2^nd TdaP.  Thank you for any guidance you can provide.
