I think the jury is out on that one.
For new hires I take the documentation they have. If they have been recently injured, what I see from our provider is that if the Tetanus in any form is older than 5 years they
consider re-vaccinating, and if older than 7 they opt to vaccinate. I am not sure which one they give in the ER.

When an employee (new or existing) had a TdaP 10+ years ago, do you give a Td or another TdaP? If just a Td, what about those in obstetrics or the ED? I know CDC says Td, but I’m seeing a lot of family practice providers giving a 2nd
