We accept QFT from 3 month back on new hire employees from approved labs. We want current TB status on new hire physical.  No we do not do annual TB screening by QFT or TST as my hospital is low risk per CDC guidelines. See CDC TB testing for HCW article. We test with IGRA on new hire and Exposure investigation.

I have a couple of questions on Quanteferon Testing..

1.        How far back do you accept QG tests for new hires (1 yr, 2 yrs, 5 years, etc)

2.        Do you require annual QG testing for employees or only testing upon exposure?
