We are proud to announce the NW Immunization Conference hosted by Immunize Oregon. Early Bird registration and Exhibitor/Sponsorship applications are now open.
Please forward as appropriate to help us bring this great opportunity to all immunization and public health stakeholders. Our draft agenda and speaker lists have been posted. The 3-day event has been approved for up to 22 hours for a
variety of CE/CME with more disciplines to be added soon. Registration for each day includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, and any applicable continuing education.
8/13: Furthering the Vaccine Discussion.
- Dr. Ari Brown, author of the Baby and Toddler411 series, AAP Spokesperson, and famous Pediatrician, will begin our day with an exciting Key Note address.
- Dr. Richard Pan, California District 6 Senator, Pediatrician, and health policy expert, will discuss the importance of coalitions, and share his journey with vaccine legislation change
in California.
- Dr. Joel Amundson, Pediatrician, Boost Oregon Board Director, was recently featured nationally for his approach to communicating with parents and will discuss vaccine hesitancy.
- Breakout sessions have been designed for clinical, policy, community, and research interests.
- We have set time for networking and exhibitors during the day, and thrown in a no-host wine event to start the evening.
8/14: Pediatric and Adolescent Immunizations.
- National vaccine experts will review age-appropriate immunizations, the current recommendations, and the diseases they prevent.
- Includes a chapter-by-chapter discussion of the Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine-Preventable Disease. (The CDC Pink Book Course)
8/15: Adult Immunizations.

Immunize Oregon, the state-wide immunization coalition, will convene stakeholders from across the region for a three-day event featuring the comprehensive review
of the Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine-preventable Disease (Pink Book) Course. NWIC pairs the Pink Book Course with an additional day of nationally recognized speakers, interactive educational workshops covering a variety of topics from immunization
program management, understanding vaccine safety, coalition building, and more. Attendees will have the option to attend one, two, or all three days of the conference. Continuing education credits have been pre-approved to provide 22 hours for a variety of
clinical disciplines. Don't delay - early bird registration ends July 12th, 2019!
