My hospital should have one – I had attended a really good conference on this November of last year, and I see it as a wave of the future and something they will be looking for in future inspections, however we have been busy with computer upgrades, etc. so have not gotten around to putting together our information and formulating policies. Etc.
I believe Linda Welch’s email below would be the members of my team (because EH and IC are the same, but if in your facility they are not, please add infection control since recently there have been blood exposures, etc. with diversion) and we may discuss it at my Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee, which meets quarterly.
