Our hospital is not-for-profit, so the physician’s group is legally and financially a separate entity. Our EH function is aligned in the physician group. As a physician I report
directly to the COO, while my clinic manger reports to a Director who reports to the COO. The COO then reports to the physician’s group board and the CEO of the entire organization. We perform EH functions for the system and provide our results to HR, but
we are not in a reporting chain with HR.

We have been asked to review the reporting structure of our EOHS function.
We report into a VP of HR who reports to the SVP of HR.
I am a direct report of that VP and a report to our CMO.
Could you please share what your structure looks like.
Thank you.
