Earlier today, I posted an inquiry regarding PPE in administering Prolia subcutaneously.  This is a clarification.

 

It did not occur to me that the “regulations” that my colleague was referring to was just USP 800. Which of course many of us have been dealing with.

 

Right now, some of our staff is concerned about  gowning and double gloving  for a teeny SQ administration.  I think they want to eliminate the gown.  Any comments appreciated.
