We have seen a substantial decrease in our WPV incidents, attributed to the updated visitor policy that we put in place for both our ERs and our inpatient services.

 

Also, we have actually liberalized it a bit from no-visitor policy to allowing a family member to assist  and to reassure at the bedside.

 

This should be placed in the context of the relatively low number of COVID-19 hospitalizations we have had in our system here in the coastal area of South Carolina.
