Subject: [MCOH-EH] Sneeze guards at reception areas in healthcare settings

CAUTION: This email originated from outside your organization. Exercise caution when opening attachments or clicking links, especially from unknown senders.

Are you putting up acrylic “sneeze guards” in your  public areas?   Information desks?  Office receptionist areas?

We have a universal masking policy  for our employees, and in the outpatient offices, before they even get into the waiting room,  patients are temp and sx screened and are provided masks if they don’t have them already.  Our patient visitors are masked also.

CDC and OSHA have not spec’ed out a design or performance criteria for a “sneeze guard”.  Also, the logistical and housekeeping issues could be a challenge.

Appreciate the time you take to respond.
