CDC defines exposure risk of being within 6 feet for 15 minutes or more. If all parties are wearing masks, the exposure risk is reduced.

Subject: [MCOH-EH] Question re: Mask studies

I hope this question isn’t foolish: I am advising local schools and want to make sure I have this right.
I have reviewed the Lancet article, good but limited as all meta-analyses are by the variety of studies and quality of those reports.
Would someone clarify the physical distancing (we should advocate for that language rather than social distancing, whatever that is) benefits at 1m vs. 2m vs. more… are those analyzed when both parties are wearing masks? Or are they without
masks? I assume the latter but am not sure.
Are there any studies you’re aware of regarding physical distance efficacy with dual mask use?
Thanks,
Wendy

I have had people asking me about good, solid, scientific studies on either side of the question whether to wear a mask or not. Does anybody have good quality studies they could recommend?
Thanks,
